Palmer Bartending Beverage Service Contract
DEPOSIT
A
deposit in the amount of 50% of the total cost is required at the
time of booking for all events. This guarantees the date. An event is
not considered booked until we have received your deposit. The
deposit will apply towards the amount due.
FINAL
PAYMENT
Final payment for the remaining amount must be on-site at
the start of the event. If additional charges incur during the event,
Palmer Bartending will bill at the end of the event. Payment for any
additional charges must be paid within three (3) days of receiving
the invoice.
GUARANTEED ATTENDANCE
Final count for an
event, which becomes your guaranteed number when calculating the
bill, must be received two weeks prior to the event.
If attendance is more than 10% above the guaranteed number, we will
make every effort to accommodate your group. However, we cannot
guarantee availability of additional items as specified in the
original order and will substitute accordingly. There may be an
additional charge for additional guests.
LATE BOOKINGS
We
encourage placing your order as early as possible. A minimum of two
weeks planning is required for some events. If booked less than two
weeks prior to the date, a surcharge will be added to total. We
reserve the right to refuse events that are requested late or exceed
our capacity to provide the service.
CONTRACTED TIME
The
contracted time is a minimum of four (4) hours, beginning one hour
prior to the event, unless otherwise noted. In the event of overtime,
it can be requested one hour prior to the scheduled end of the event.
The staff has the right to refuse overtime due to scheduling
issues.
PAYMENT
Payment may be made in cash or checks
payable to “Palmer Bartending.” A 15% OR $75 gratuity
(whichever
is greater) will be added to all events with a bartender or wait
staff if no tip jar is allowed at the event.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Palmer
Bartending reserves the right to substitute items that become
unavailable in the market or that exceed reasonable market costs.
Palmer Bartending will notify client if time allows.
UNDER AGE
DRINKING and VISIBLE INTOXICATION
We reserve the right to card
and/or refuse service at any event. Please advise your guests that if they appear to be under the age of 30, they may be asked to provide ID. We reserve the right to close
bar service due to under age drinking (under 21), with no refund
of deposit or money paid.
As
per Pennsylvania law, we will not continue to serve anyone we judge
to be visibly intoxicated. We reserve the right to discontinue
service to such individuals, though we will make every effort to be
tactful. Your support as Client and Host in these matters is assumed.
LOCATION,
PERMITS, etc..
Location selection and compliance with all location
permits, rules and/or regulations are the sole responsibility of the
Client.
SET-UP & BREAKDOWN
60 minutes before and 30
minutes after is included. Unusual or labor intensive room set ups
and break downs may warrant additional labor charges.
OVERTIME
Can
be requested one hour prior to the scheduled end of the event. The
staff has the right to refuse overtime due to scheduling issues.
CONTRACT
TERMS
Beverage service reservations are valid for up to one
calendar year. A signed copy of this contract must be on file in our
offices in order for the contract to be valid. Payment may be made in
cash or checks payable to “Palmer Bartending”.
A

Palmer
Bartending shall not be liable for the non-performance of this
contract when such non-performance is attributed to labor troubles,
disputes, strikes, government (Federal, State, or Municipal)
regulations of or restrictions on travel or supplies, riots, or
natural emergencies, acts of God and other causes whether enumerated
herein or not, which are beyond reasonable control, preventing or
interfering with Palmer Bartending performance. In such event Palmer
Bartending shall not be liable to the customer for any damages
whether actual or consequential, which may result from such
non-performance.
ALL SALES FINAL.
ANY RETURNED CHECKS
ARE SUBJECTED TO A $35 FEE.
